OK, I went wheeling the other day, and the engine started to stall out when I lifted the RH wheels on an incline......this is the first time for this.
I did a seach for 'stall*' and did not find much, but I remember reading a thread awhile back dealing with the RH/LH lean angles and stalling.
Anyone know how to remedy this? BESIDES fuel injection? I want it, but the $$$ is not there for it.
I have the breather tube upgrade, and everything works well. except the stalling, I just read about putting a fuel preasure regulator on it, to keep it from flooding...Not a bad idea, but I am not convinced its flooding, I think it may be starving for fuel. if I start it it idles fine on the incline, but unless i floor it, it stalls, only leaning to the left, not the right.
Anyone have a clue here?:(
thanks:D

Not tryin' to be a smartass or anything, but was there plenty of fuel in the tank. Sometimes the obvious gets overlooked.

sereously I used to have trouble where, all of a sudden the truck would just die generally when the rrrs were up for a while and when you would go to start it I would have to pumpand crank the shit out of it before it would start again, the only thing i did was a tuneup and change the fuel filter. and it has not happened again I would suggest that, and cleaning your carb real well. Also I dont think there is any way in Hell A ranger is going through Purgatory (HEHEHEHEH) unless it has a Suuuuupper flexy Susp.

Ive got the line down pretty good now where as I dont need the saftey harnes but its definatly a pucker. If you rsusp. flexes enough take all the high lines and your undercarage wont hang up on all the little crap in between, oh ya and if your runnin stock exh. pipe cut it off that was another big help. as far as being there no My sthit is torn down to the frame for the winter for the Toy axles and Coil overs and ram assist stearing but Have fun anyway. Just an fyi if ya break anything and need it welded the only place to get it done on site is by a guy named Mike he runs the food stand $20.00 and he generely hook ya up have Fun

Hey thanks for the heads up Rockrat, I was just pokin a bit O' fun at ya. Wish you could be there. Some of the Rangers are prety flexxy, you might be a bit surprised by them.
I will have to do a tune up/filter change befor then, and I will clean the carb as suggeted.
