A few of us from the WNY area are heading down to RC for the weekend. Since there are a number of clubs in this forum, I thought I would post up to see if anyone else from this board would be around to drink beer with afterwards.

I plan on arriving late on 3/13 and leaving mid afternoon on 3/15.

I know a couple of the Right Coast guys wil be floating around, anyone else?

Doug, You're correct. No Dirt Bikes.

What trails to people plan on running, I've got a diverse group ranging from 33's and open, to 40''s and locked. Were planning on running blues and black's.

Possibly a few red climbs for a few of us depending on how wet it is.

Scared?

Some are plain nasty while others are do-able with dry conditions and a 93" wheelbase.

You'll be fine- famous last words.

Fun for all can be had on "O" trail!!! The description form Rausch Creek’s web site "GREEN trail with RED hillside of rock crawling and BLACK sections at the bottom" and it holds very true. We ran trail "O", 4 with Yellow Jacket, 5, 6, and 16 the last time we where there.

I agree, some of the climbs on "O" are in the nasty catergory. I haven't been down there this year but, 5 has always been fun, I think the climb on 5 is do-able of a shorter wheelbase rig. Crawler ridge was dug out pretty good last fall.

From the RC site they have a new traill #22 which I might like to hit, and I know "shoot the moon" or "Bad Idea" or "quarry trail" whatever its called, has been discussed since some of us walked it last year. That trail wouldn't be for everyone though.

That sucks.

He's still in, and camping?

I spoke to Butch this morning, and he's still in and camping.

Is your junk ready to go?

Late night for me, almost all back together.:smokin:

Dennis is in and camping. Bought some propane for the Tent heater this morning.

Junk will be ready. Dennis is grabbing it on his way down Friday morning for me.

See a need to bring firewood?

90-95 percent done. I had to order a shackle that came in last night and then they are going to put some dimples in to make is look great.

I'll be up for sure and I'm pretty sure broncolou is going to be there as well. getting there early and rolling out early. I'm looking to GPS map the whole park in a day. Aka, hit every trail and every rock in a day so I can record everything for the following weekends.

Doug,

I'm assuming we're (everyone but the wife and I) are camping over in the right side corner of the lot.

I've got a bobbed scrambler, it's black with a red hood. Stop over, my buddy has the large motorhome and napa jeep (there easy to identify).

Later.
