I am moving my automatic transmission shifter back about 8 inches to clear my tcase shifters and make everything easier while fully strapped in. The shifter cable is about 6" to short (story of my life). I have searched on here and on the web trying to find a way to do this.

Anyone have any suggestions? FYI - 99 TJ with stock 4.0L and 3 speed tranny. I have a passenger drop tcase, so that is why the tcase shifters are in the way.

I looked at Lokar and Art Carr. Lokar is saying they don't have a applicaiton for TF-999 transmissions, but AC says the shifter that fits the TF-8 with a 5' cable will work. Anyone done this?
