....I am wondering if anyone here has run the tuff country 6 inch lift front combined with ORD's rear shackle flip and tuff country 2in rear springs. I am wanting to clear 39.5's on my new(to me) 78 chevy. I will be running a Dana 70 front and 14 bolt rear, trying to get some good flex but not have to install traction bars.

How much lift do you get with the shackle reverse?

FROM WHAT I HEAR THE TUFF COUNTRY IS ONE OF THE SOFTEST KITS AROUND. YOU WILL GET PLENTY OF FLEX, ALTHOUGH IM NOT SURE ABOUT THE NEED FOR TRACTION BARS. WISH I COULD HELP YOU OUT WITH THAT ONE. GOOD LUCK.

I'm running a Skyjacker, and it works.
Rides better than stock and corners better too, even though I removed the swaybar.
Shocks are from Rancho.

I have that lift on my 85 K5. It doesn't corner worth the damn, but I didn't do the lift for that. I am running the Rancho 9000 shocks and am very happy. I left off the sway bar for more flex. I didn't do the shackle reverse. good luck on that!
