I'll be up in Panamint week after next, Anybody been there lately? I'm thinking of going up South Park and coming down Pleasant, keeping the big drop off above the bridge on my side, not the wifes. Sound like a good idea?

It should be fine either way. I was in South Park last October and other than the brush overgrowing the road above Coulter it was in fine shape. Its still below freezing at night in the higher elevations so there is a chance of ice at Coulter. It probably isnt bad any more, just be aware.

Just as Kris says; should be no problems either way. :)

I was up pleasant 3 weeks ago. Went to the top to overlook stiped butte. There was about 8 inches of snow still so it was pretty cool. Road is good.

We had a small group go through the Loop this week. No problems were encountered and the trail was in fine shape.

I was in Jail Canyon this morning and had lots of crosstalk on the squawk box from one group that came out of S. Park. Epic conditions were experienced.
