Im installing the 8.8 in my cherokee and installing a sye kit also with a front cherokee cv driveshaft. From the diff cover on my 8.25 to the yoke shaft its 13 1/4" and the 8.8 is 15 3/4" that means the driveshaft should be plenty long. I wanted to know if anyone has done this same setup if so how did it work out and do you have any pics?
Thanks,
Corey

Corey, you gotta learn how to search man. The 8.8 is probably the MOST popular rear axle swap for XJ's, TJ's, YJ's etc. Its a great axle, easy, and cheap to do. Search "8.8 axle swap" and you'll find any answer to any question you could ever need to know.
