Hey folks i'm new on this site.
first off i have a 79 F250 4x4 60's front an rear. I'm planning on locking the front with either an ARB or the Ox locker but was told that i'd have to send my housing out for machine work .. is this true? I read up on their website and seems to me, all the action happens threw the cover not the housing. Any help would appreciated. also what are some of your experience's with either one of these set ups.

OX won't require any housing mod, and is a great device. You will have to route the cable carefully, but not nearly as much so as with the ARB.
With the ARB, you will have to tap the housing, but it's something you can readily do with the right tools.

Yes, but that doesn't mean we're going to spoon feed the information to you. This topic has been covered before. Maybe not as "Make up my mind between an ARB and an Ox," but as individual threads where people have said what they like about the ARB or what they like about the Ox
