I have a 90 xj that is in need of an ecm. Its a 4.0 auto. Does anyone know if the ecm will have to come out of another 90 model or will other years work? I am having trouble locating a 90 model replacement.

90 model is renix injection 87-90 will work anything 91 and up is HO and will be different

negative, yj's never had the renix injection, while the renix was on the 4.0 cherokee the yj still used the 4.2 motor and some funky electronically gadgeted carb, so theyre 2 very different motors
