I read the thread a couple of weeks ago and someone chimed in about using a factory mini frig from a yota. Found one today and was going to pull it, but couldn't figure out what the lines going under the truck were for or where they were going to. Besides the radiator there was a condenser in front of the rad, and then a huge cooler mounted horizontally with its own fan right under the cooler. There were so many lines under there I couldn't figure out what was what so I went home and got drunk. I have for the moment sobered up enough to now ask for some more info on the unit.

Is that the condenser for the cooler right underneath it?

It seems way large compared to the cap of the frig.

What type of refrigerant does it use?

I know it would only cost me maybe 20 bucks, but it looks like a lot of fab work for a 6 pack frig

Does it really make ice cubes well?
