I have geared the letter generator up for the Eniviromental Assesment in Tellico.

We are in DIRE STRAIGHTS here folks with Tellico.

There is a big possiblity that we could lose one of the last remaining areas on public lands to wheel on the east coast. WE NEED EVERYONE's HELP! PLEASE!!

Unfortunatley, "form letters" do not work in this situation. The FS will just toss them aside. The GOOD news is that the FS must read and respond to EVERY single personal letter that is not a "form" letter.

To make it easier for people who have never been to Tellico (myself included) I have listed "talking points" to write on. You can't cut and paste becuase it will be tossed out, but please take 5 mintues to write a letter to save this area.

Pick a "talking point" and argue for it.

10 letters addressing 1 different points is much better than 1 letter addressing 10 points becuase it makes more work for the FS.

I get CC'ed all the e-mails, so I know who has been bad, and who has been good.

Please post in this thread everytime you senda letter.
