It just occurred to me that beverage trailer could be converted to a pretty sweet car hauler for not a whole lot of money. :smokin:

Damn Auto Trader! That is the worst performing website in the world.
Anyway, here is the picture. They are asking C$3500 for the all aluminum beverage trailer. I'm sure that you could gut the interior and even change axles if necessary. http://media.canadatrader.com/inventory/752/items/normal/BCAFA834-1729200211.jpg
Have you thought about how much work it would take to "gut the interior"? All of those side doors would need to be eliminated along with the interior dividers. When you take out those dividers there goes the main structure of the trailer. Also notice how little clearance there is between the rear axle and the trailer roof. Not many four by's would fit between the two. What would you tow it with? You're pretty much stuck with a semi-type tow rig with all of the tongue weight that thing would have.

I guess it's always easier to say it wouldn't work than it is to use your imagination.

Um, he makes some valid points, though.
The wheels being so far back puts half the tongue weight on your tow vehicle. Loaded, you're looking at 5000 lb, not really ideal.
But hey, if you're willing to try it, I'm willing to read the write up on it! ;)

Imagination is a great thing as long as it's realistic. I really like good ideas that are thought through completely. You criticize me for pointing out the obvious complications, but yet offer no possible solutions for them? Where's that imagination?

I would take the serial #, file it off.
Go buy 4,000# of steel, and the other parts to build a new 5th wheel, slap the beverage containers ID on it. and sell the rest off for aluminium scrap at $0.30 a lb or whatever you get for it. :flipoff2:
