: 1480 Series U Joint Snap Rings??

Did a search, and came up with nada, does anybody have the size for the snap ring for a Dana 60 Ujoint (the axle shafts) 1480 series I believe. Is anybody doing this?

Yep- it's been done. I don't have a part number, I just went to the parts house and went thru the snapring selection until I found the right ones.

I could never find a snap ring that was teh same thickness as the c-clip that came with the joint.So in an effort to keep a tight fit with the seals I just tack weld my caps to the yoke in 3 spots..Really doesn't help though..The joint still breaks...What does help is ROCKWELLS:D
