another stupid newb question are 39x13.5x17 super swamper iroks with 25-30% worth $400 and how long would that 25-30% last

Only you will know if they're worth it or not. depends on how bad you
need tires. As to how long they'll last; depends...
Way too many unknown variables to hazard a guess.
E.G. weight of vehicle, traction aid, driving style, daily driver,
and so on. Having said that, IROKS are a very soft compound tire,
and will wear fairly quickly....

they would be going on a daily driven quarter ton im not desperate for them im just planing my summer project and lookin to pick up some basic parts the same guy has some 37x12x17 bfg all terrains they have about 40% but they dont look very agressive most of my driving would be done on road in snow on some mild trails and a little mud

you'd be better off with the bfg's in this case

ditto. the bfg at's have a reputation for lasting many miles. with 40% tread they will out grip the irok's on snow,dirt, and possibly mud since the irok's are pretty worn out. on rocks the irok's soft compound would still win. for your use get the bfg's.
