So I found a 88 f350 with a a dana 60 under it for 700$ I have a 91 yj that I want to put it under for now I cant four link it yet so I want to know if the 60 will go under the yj ? Am I going to have problems with how far apart the springs are? Is this a good deal? It’s a full truck logger box might be running not sure what do you think?

not hardcore yes it will fit. you might have to outboard your springs. go take a tape measure and measure how wide the spring perches are on the f350. then figure out how far apart yours are and then you can figure out how much you will have to outboard your springs

read second link down in my signature. I cover all the details of installing this axle in a YJ doing a SOA. The first link covers the turbo install. So don't click that one(unless you want to waste your time in a turbo system)
Click the second link. I did it, and it turned out great! Very easy on the fabrication level. I just took my time. For 700, its worth it! I did it and will never think twice about doing it again.
Yes it will. I have one under my yj. you will have to outboard the springs.:p

Yep, outboard the springs. I decided not to outboard the springs and lengthened my axle ~1 3/4" on the driver's side and shortened it ~4" on the long side, which resulted in 67" WMS.

I have an 1989 F350 Dana 60 front under my YJ.
I cut 6" off the longside and run drw hubs. This will put the WMS around 72". The driver's side spring sits in the center of the perch on the housing. This is with the springs in the stock location. I made a perch for the passenger side to match the height of the driver's side perch.
I am running H1 wheels with stock backspacing. With 38.5" TSL SX tires, it is just under 80" form outside of tire to outside of tire.
$700 sounds like a good price.

As everyone else stated, you will have to outboard your springs. Not a big deal unless you are running big tires. I run 44" TSLs and they rub bigtime on the leaves when turning sharp.Takes quite a bit away from turning radius. My 60 is out an 88 Ford as well, and my rims are 2.75" BS. Didn't have to grind calipers that way and it helps a tad with the turning.

I did exactly the same thing. Puts your spring centers right in the
31.5 +/- .5" range.
