All '02 models are supposed to have D60 fronts.

Some early '02s still Dana50's especially if it is from Mexico; the only way you can tell the differance is to look at the casting #s because the covers are the same.

yup - a lot of the F250s have D50s in them, only way to be 100% sure of a D60 is to get the F350

'99-'01 SRW F-350s also had D50s

hmm well i just picked up an '02 f-250, i tried to get the 350 but it was just too expensive. anyways, if it is a d60 what #'s should be on the housing? i checked out the housing and all i can find is the date it was made(june 2002) and the gear ratio(3:73). so i would assume that it is a late model and that it would have the d60. does that sound right?
