RANGE accident. guy brought LOADED M1 Garand to range, while I and a couple other s were downrange setting up targets, he was removing his rifle from a soft case, grabbed the trigger and blew the end of the case off, I found the bullet at about 30 yds...felt like someone hit me in the back with a baseball bat, next thing I knew I was in the hospital waking up...guy offered to GIVE me the rifle...
