I have a 89`Ford Econoline and i want to take this engine in my 75`CJ5 can you tell me if it fits to the Jeep bolt pattern?
Why does my 89`5.0 EFI only have 160 HP please tell me the difference to a Mustang 5.0

I'm in the middle of swapping in a 5L HO motor and have found out the following:

The 5L HO moter uses a different upper intake for a larger throttle body.
The 5L HO motor uses 19# injectors instead of 14#.
The 5L HO motor uses a different computer.
The 5L HO motor uses a different cam (351W style) and the firing order is different.
The 5L HO moter uses a MAF sensor.

I think all thats correct and why the HO motor puts out a few more HP than the standard 5L fuel injecton.

I don't think it will bolt up to a Jeep bellhousing but Advance adapter's has a kit that will let you do it.
