: want to wheel last week of april rocktoy62 03-16-2009, 07:35 AM My name is Jeremi Taylor and my wife and I are traveling to the Austin area the last week of April and want to bring my Jeep with me and do some wheeling during the week if there is anyone that would be interested please respond asap so I can get some things set up. I also need some help locating a place to wheel within an 1 to 1 1/2 hrs of Austin, any help would be greatly appreciated. Well the biggest problem is that 99% of Texas is private property, and you cant wheel in any creek beds. Which is too bad because I have Cibolo creek less than half a mile from my house and while its nothing too difficult its still something and fun oh and free. The other bitch of is you cant wheel in the Devils Den in San Antonio either. I dont know of any places that are open during the week. Really just sucks at times to live in Texas because of that crap.
