The only difference between any sami t-case is the flange size and possibly the front shaft size, and low range aftermarket gears.

I believe in late 88 they when to a bigger flange? And a stronger output shaft later on.

front output shaft isn't any stronger, it just has longer teeth to help with shimming in the case

Can you 'splain? A few vendors offer an upgraded (stronger) front output shaft that I thought was the same as the later model front outputs.

That's the one! Look at the pictures of the two side-by-side and you'll understand. It's stronger if/when the teeth engage more fully.

the shaft came factory in 90 and newer zuks
the teeth that in gage with the sliding clutch(collar) are deeper and are less prone to stripping off due to the extra material.
thats the only difference. ive still snapped off that shaft, so its not that much tougher.(rear one broke before the front ever did)

also the transmissions in 90 and newer sami's have a different o/d ratio (faster)
