One owner from new, under 50,000miles in 25 years. Service history. This was a very rare find.
Original rims and tyres included.
Fully serviced 2.25ltr Diesel and had new MOT when imported to USA in June 08. Chassis has light surface rust, and has been waxolied reguarly by the original owner, but is totally solid. Bulkhead is rust free. LT77 5 speed gearbox, drives well.
Interior in good condition with deluxe vinyl seats.
White 8 spokes with 235/85R16 MT tyres.
Fitted with a galvanised Ifor Williams truckman top.
Runs and drives very well. Cruises hapily at 55mph giving 25mpg approx.
This vehicle can be run on diesel or bio diesel.
We took this vehicle to the Rover Owners of Virginia (ROAV) summer rallye in June, the vehicle drove over 450miles there and back with no problems. The vehicle was driven off road at the rallye and her performance suprised quite a few people. On the road she happily motors at 60mph.
I believe this vehicle can be registered in California, as the vehicle is 26 yrs old and the Diesel engine is older than 21 years old and less than 2.5ltrs, so it is exempt the CA diesel test. (This is what i have been told, I cannot confirm this)
Vehicle is located at a friend house in Arnold, Maryland. Has a clean MD title. Has all DOT and EPA paperwork. Please contact for a test drive.
This vehicle is in amazing condition for its age, One owner for 25 years, Regular services, Low mileage, Chassis waxoiled every 3 years since new. Yes it was a worked vehicle, but its an ideal candidate for an enthusiast. Its fairly unique, there are other HCPU's in The USA, But I'd lay a bet that none of the others have had one owner and been cared for like this vehicle.
** I will not sell this vehicle for less than $10,000 because I have at least this amount invested in her, if she doesn't sell she will be available as a courtesy car for use by my clients **

This vehicle is RHD, Right Hand Drive, so its ideal for a postman or if you wish to have something different. LHD conversions are available at extra cost.
This vehicle can be run on bio diesel and be converted to run on SVO.
Due of the standard and original 2.25 Diesel this truck is ideal for CA.
