I can't believe somebody asked this on the pirate board and was not flamed out of existence. The NP203 is the most common boat anchor transfer case used by all of the big three truck makers in the seventies, only about a billion trucks had them. The Chevy forum is way more forgiving than the Jeep forum. I've got four or five laying around, some converted, some not, most off TH350's, one off a TH400, and one divorced mount out of a Ford. Heard rumors of one behind a SM465, but I've never seen it. The only use I can think of is if a fella had a boat he wanted to keep in one place for a while. So, anybody got any cool applications / adaptations of the iron pig NP203? I know a guy that built a downsized Peterbuilt truck and used an NP203 with the front output flipped around in the case and installed facing backward to drive the two Dana 70 rears.
