Hey i got a 4.0 V6 out of a 91 exploder and am looking to swap it into an 85 ranger along with all the suspension and make it a diecent vehicle but i need a wiring harness and was told it had to be from a 91 exploder because of something with the O2 sensors is this true or can i use harness from other years? Thanks

It all depends on the tranny it had, if it had egr, and a few other small things, but years 94 and below ranger or explorer will work. Make sure you match the harness for the tranny your using and so on and so forth.
