We have begun our pre-order for our 3.0" Forged Ballistic joints, available with a whopping 1.5"-12 tpi shank. The pics above show our new joints compared to our 2.63" Forged Ballistic Joints, the extra strength is clear.

"The Massive 3.0" rebuild-able Ultra Duty BALLISTIC joint exclusively from Ballistic Fabrication is built to withstand extreme punishment. Forged from 4340 Chromoly, then quenched, tempered and normalized. 100% forged and machined in the USA the forged Ballistic joints use purely domestic materials. It's extra large 3/4" bore (bolt hole) is large enough to handle heavy torque, while the huge 3.0" diameter .350" wall housing accomodations over 25 degrees of misalignment both ways. The giant 2" ball distributes the forces over a larger surface area and translates into a better ride and longer life as well as superior strength. The BALLISTIC joint features solid billet Nylatron GS races that won't deform under load and provides a smooth bearing surface for a noise free ride. Fully greasable and rebuild-able. All joints include full zinc plating. Sold individually. "

Choose from a 1.0" 14 tpi., 1.25 12 tpi stud, or try an industry first, the massive 1.5" - 12tpi stud available in both right or left hand thread.

If so, I am interested in 16, and the tool. Do I need to the thread pitch right away? Thanks Jim

We will be shipping the 1.5" shank rod ends first, and meanwhile we will release an entire tube adapter / jam nut line to support the product. If you decide to change the shank size, just let us know before the release date.

Just to give everyone an idea, our first joints we're up for pre-order for less than half the time, and it took us 3 weeks JUST TO SHIP the giant loads of orders... What I'm saying is that the sooner these are pre-ordered, the sooner you will receive them.

I want them. I am in no big hurry. My only issue is I already have 16 of the Currie Joints and Chromo tube adapters for the same joints. Id like to have the larger thread but will need new tube adapters with the new joints. Thanks Jim
