I have a 78 Ramcharger. I bought it for $1500.00
and I just want the engine/trans/xfercase. Right
now it is still running.

Its nothing special. Yellow with a black top.
Big fat tires on aluminum rims. I have no photos.

I have clear title and current non-op in my name.

I could try to take some before I post it for sale.

I want to try to offset some of the original cost.

Someone must know what a reasonable price would
be so I can put it in the For Sale section.

just part it out, so i can rob parts off of it :flipoff2: But honestly, i woudl buy both axles, the spring hangers, and some other stuff if you would like me to.. but otherwise i say it is worth >$400 sitting as is. and i am willing to pay $200 for what i just said. Let me know.

Hey, scout II, i would really like some parts off of that ramcharger if you would be willing to part it out. or i could buy the whole thing from you, (i'll offer $250), just dont have a way to get it home.. and would have to sawzall up alot of it, so i really dont want to do that if i dont have to, so i would rather just pay you take the parts i want, and then you can sell what is left. Right now its a daily driver just need to renew
the tags and to pull the
axles for $200.00 it just isn't worth even
the labor right now.

I want to sell it as a roller.I have a trailer
to possibly deliver or I can get a one day pass and just drive it there and pull the motor-xfercase.

You might try scouring the Pick N' Pulls in the
Bay Area on their "1/2 off $$ days". I think they
do it twice a year. I have one near me and every
so often I see a Dodge there. You have to get
there as soon as it comes in though because
after one day people have already pulled
the axles/or axle parts. On the spring hangers
I don't think they let you take a torch inside
the yard to be able to burn off the rivets.
For the effort/time/tools required you might just
be better off trying to buy them new. Probably
less than $150.00 for all four.
