Hey guys, need a few Ideas, I've got a '83 Ram Charger, I've replaced the coil, but still have no spark coming from the coil, i've traced all the wires an the seem to be hooked up where they need to be...any ideas on what may be causing the lack of spark?

Do you have power to the coil?
Try running 12 volts straight to the coil and see if it fires

Make sure all of the do dads and thing-a-ma-jigs on the driver fender are pluged in tight too.

check the ecm. if its good check the pick up coil under the dist. cap and rotor. maybe even check the ballist resistor too.

ignition module?

ive also encounter the distributor wearing out. the bearings get play then the shaft will rock around, causing some erratic spark. easiest way to check that is pop off the cap and rotor, then rock it around to see if there is play.

ignition control module? Auto Zone can test most of them. Just a stab at it..
