From time to time members talk about repair manuals that far exceed the douche bag directions of Haynes manuals that basically say removal is the opposite of assembly, assembly is opposite of removal. Can anyone give me a pointer to who makes these superior manuals? What I am after is I am going to be doing a 5.0 swap in an 86 BII and I want to get my ducks in a row to learn as much as I can before moving forward. I have been to the ford fuel injection site, but was looking for good wiring schematics of the BII. The searching I did didn't turn up anything. Thanks for any help its always appreciated.

Try factory service manuals. Do not have much experience with american ones... but my MB ones kick ass. Pricey but can be very useful.

when I did a 4.0l swap on my 86 BII I used a combo of the chiltons and the haynes...

the chiltons was way better on the wiring.
