Lokar shifters seem popular. I'd like to hear form those who agree and diagree, and what length you think is a good idea.
I'm open to other suggestions too!
Thanks!

I tired a couple didn't like any of them...

I'm using one out of XR4Ti that I really like. Modified the shift pattern, and it works a little better.
I like to tap it forward into N without the fear of hitting R
Also, I like to slam it into R without the fear or hitting P (I don't like flipping over backwards)

After that I found this -> Creating the Ultimate Off-road Auto Shifter (http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/shifter/)
Check it out.

I tried messing with all kinds of cheap shifters grinding this and removing that, then spent the money on an Art-Carr and haven't looked back.

Get a hold of one of the Lovell brothers on here. They'll hook you up with one.

Its the art carr gate shifter you guys have, right?
Is the Lokar cable hookup? Summit racing says it's linkage. I'm pretty sure I want cable.

lokar is linkage, AC is cable (and in some cases uses a combo cable and linkage- a la TF727 and 9XXs)

B&M Mega-Shifter.

Is that type withing easy reach or do you have to bend over quite a bit to reach it?
