Know this technically belongs in the Classifieds, but most Jeep guys would be clueless and I would never get any hits.

I am looking for Disco or Defender front inner axles. I think my '90 RRC CV's will mount to these. Not sure. My CV's are 23-spline I believe and are supposedly a little stronger CV than the Defender or Disco ones.

In short I need cheap 24-spline axles for now.

I have a 1990 RRC as well. Does the 1990 come stock with the 23 spline outers or did you just upgrade the cvs

Try lrx.com or roverland or rover clubhouse or rovercannibal for 24 spline axles.

Anybody ever look at scorpion-racing UK - they have some nice lift packages..

The defender and disco CVs are 32 spline at the CV end so they wouldn't go into a 23 spline CV. Have you converted your front end to 24 spline I guess? 90 Range Rover would be 10 spline in the diff side is why I'm asking. The axles I pulled out of a 91 Range Rover were 10 spline at the diff and 32 at the CV. Don't know about a '90. I have those inner axles if you need them.

It sounds like your budy is not going to have his shit together and have those new fangeled HD units ready for by the Rally. I'm telling ya need to get rid of that front Rover axle and put something better up front. I know I am not helping you much but just being a pain in the ass. :flipoff2: Try that guy from Co Springs with the yellow Rangie (Rock Ware did the work) he had a Disco he was parting out a few weeks back.

I have the side gears in my garage. You are probably right on the spline count. I will check my spare 10-spline axles when I get home. It would be great if they are the same CV spline count as the Defender/Disco.

I've got one long side inner. 24 spline diff end and 32 spline CV end.
$100 or trade for short side

I may take you up on that inner axle. I'm going to check around and see if I can find a set locally first.

Not yet. I am seriously considering an axle swap this winter. Want to take a look at your rig at the Rally. Starting to think this is a better alternative.

Not going to the rally. Want to show me some wheeling one of these weekends near or around Denver. Have plans this weekend (parents are visiting)...but currently Spetember looks great. Maybe the 7th???

FWIW Roverland's website says "Roverland is closed" and nothing else.

I have seen some of the Scorpion-Racing suspensions. The latest thing they are selling is an obvious copy of both the Rockware and Rovertym drop cone designs. Curious to know how strong the Scorpion-Racing version is? Looks kind of weak. But what the hell do I know.
