Crossover pipe for Hooker block hugger headers?

Done the history search nothing.

Q: So does anyone know of an existing crossover pipe that will bolt up to a set of block hugger Hooker headers?

I am tired of betting up my duel side dump system. Time to go single, welding and cutting not a problem. I just don’t want to use a bunch of cheep pre-bent pieces welded together to make my own pipe. And the JD-4 bender does not do @#* muffler pipe.

Thanks for your help felow Pirates!

I went the "bunch of cheep pre-bent pieces welded together to make my own pipe" route. It was only supposed to be a temp thing until I could afford a real exhaust, but it doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon. I'm quite pleased with the end result. Maybe you should reconsider. Summit sells some quality mandrel 180* bends that you can work with.

Nobody, wow that looks rather good! Hmm I might give it a shot, I have a spare set of colectors so I could see what I come up with out out tosting my curent set up.

morpheus, thaks for the web site tip.

Still anyone know of a stock set that would work? You know the drill the "65 1/2 blue chevy 3/4 with a the... stock fits right up" sort of thing.

I have to admit it turned out much better than expected. It was a bit of a puzzle to put together. It took most of the day to do, of course using oxy/acc to weld didn't speed things up  The only thing I don't like is the thin pipe, but its been over a year now and no sign of trouble.

I'd definately do it again, but would find better quality parts to work with since I know I'm capable of doing it now.

Go for it, it's not hard, just a little time consuming.
