Compared to a 205 it is... It seems to me that a 205 would be easier to run. Why the interest in a 300? Just out of curiosity.

WAs going to run the 300for the factor of 4:1 can be installed then I realized that I have to flip the 300 now so probably go with the 1354 til I break it .I thought a 205 would be a bitch behind a aod and the weight.

Are you against after market cases?? You are right, a 205 is a heavy bitch. But with a dedicated cross member, it would be fine. I know the chevy kids can get lo-max kits for the 205, 3.1 I think. Dont have any knowledge of ford kits though.

Seems doable but why? If you have any hesitation about the AOD toss the fragile bitch. Upgrade to an E4OD, :shaking: if you have the coin,.... or a bulletproof C6 if you don't need overdrive. I've researched the d300 in a Ford and it just doesn't pencil out unless you get something for free.

If you want to run the 300, just get a flip kit and it becomes driver drop.
I don't know if I would run it a rig as heavy as a fullsize.
I think by the time you add 32 spline outputs and a 4:1 and 203/205 would of been cheaper.
