Starting a motor swap from 2.5 5 speed to a 95 360 dodge motor nv4500 trans and D300 t-case, I need to know what fuel pump will run this and where to find a wiring diagram to get things hooked up any help would be great.

good luck. i've been having to figure out my shit as i go along. i'm hoping my stock jeep pump is good enough.

i'm putting a 98 360/46re/d300 in my one ton 98 sahara.

the only thing i've been able to get out of any searches are all blowing smoke up evan at backwoodsoffroad's ass.

just spend the dough on a couple of FSM's and get your reading glasses and soldering iron ready.

this is the only remotely helpful article i've ever found.

I did it on my 97 with a 96 5.9, 46re, np241
Used stock fuel pump. it worked fine.
The jeep fuel pump harness will need to be spliced into the 5.9 harness

Wiring, i used the fsm for both the 97tj and the 96 ram 2500.
actually, i used alldatadiy.com for my wiring diagrams/pinouts.

Not that difficult but a pain to check and recheck the wiring prior to soldering.

Had the 5.9 been from a 97 ram my stock guages would have worked, i ended up using autometer guages instead, since the 96 pcm did not use a buss system for the guage controls.

I was also able to use the stock ram exhaust manifolds and y pipe.

what kind of intake is that? is it from a Grand Cherokee? i'm trying to find a flat one like that and am only aware of them coming in durango/dakotas and that's not one of them... so i'd like to know what it is and what it came out of if you please.

Yes, from a grand cherokee.
You will not be able to use the factory air box because this intake is keyed to point to the drivers side.
I had to use a cone filter on the end of it.

well it looks like i can't do that then. i can't have the intake be at the front of the engine bay.

on my 4.0 i had a cowl snorkel... you can still see the coupler on the firewall just off center towards the passenger side.

my filter is inside the cowl and had a duct going straight to it from the TB. looks like i still need a durango intake.

or you can go to autozone and get a spacer kit for a carb,(usually in the chrome section) find an o-ring or some silicone to seal it to the tb and then you will be able to rotate the GC intake to any direction. Just make sure you lock tite the retainer bolt so it does not back out and head down the intake. The spacer kit will come with an extended air cleaner stud.

I had trouble locating a durango intake that was cheap, everyone wanted way too much money for one.

EDIT:Come to think of it, try the gc intake without the spacer I think it was keyed to fit facing towards the driver side but if i remember correctly, put it on facing the passenger firewall, I think the keyway will make it point exactly where you want.

i didn't think there was enough room under the hood for much of anything like that. but i'll definitly look for omething like that next time i'm there.
