Nope! Some were brought in from the states (I've seen) and it is possible some Asuna Sunrunners were 2wd. By the time they were called Pontiac Sunrunners they definatly were not 2wd available.

Contact Chris Alexander [edit for spam - look up his bio info] he has 2 2wd trackick trannys he imported from the states he is trying to sell along with a bunch of other things. He's in Ont but Canada post is cheap to ship.

You cant afford the adapter plate, but you were going to do a v-6 swap:confused: what do you think, everythings gonna be free and line up perfectly requiring no mods or special applications which will require money for parts:confused:

Hey, let me in that dream of yours then I could have my truck done.:flipoff2: :shaking:

Weld 2 brackets on the bottom of your tranny with a tig machine (take it somewhere to have it done) and drill out the top holes and there ya go, no need for adapter plate. If you want the plate, mach up an original sami plate and an original Kick plate and copy it out onto a piece of 3/16 plate and your done ! BTW, ive never seen a 2wd Kick here.

Thats why I talked him out of the 2.8. He seems to think it will not cost anything for an engine swap because it is all in the Camero. I was waiting to see how he was going to stuff that rad in the Zuk....hahahahahahaha

We've got 2wd in bc but they're disapearing fast at least in the wreckers thats one of the reasons I went with the ott kicker to toy case adapter

well i would have figured something out john.........:flipoff2: ......... well do you have any pics of the tab welded to the tranny thing? anywhere sell the tabs or are they just a simplet thing??? and what if i made the adapter plate by putting the tranny into the bearing on the engine and a piece of card bord between and make a pattern, would that work?

MM, use the metal plate from the 1.3 and the plate from the 1.6, put them over top of each other, trace it out and there ya go. I geuss the cardboard would work but the imprint might not be clearly visible all around, wont hurt to try i geuss. :flipoff2:

how would ya make it centered by laying to plates together, it would have to be exactly centered right?
