anybody know where i can get the cup and spring for the shifter on the top loader np 435 i have the retainer but thats it. I've tried everywhere the parts store look at me like i'm stupid. I also tried motive gear. But they're just a whole saler.:bawling:

check LMC truck.. I thought I saw them in the catalog

I was able to get them for cheap from Ford as recent as 4 years ago. I think under $10 for the retainer, cup and spring.
All else fails I probably have one kicking around.

If you want the number of the local Ford parts store here I can give it to ya, the guy there is very knowledgable and he'll know exactly what you are talking about.

I FOUND IT!!! Shit man i've been looking for this since i got the tranny months ago. I should've posted it earlier. It was at LMC truck. Thanks guys for your input.

i had the same problem, but i gave up a year ago lol. its funny how that is like the hardest part to find for these trucks.
