Does anyone have a steering knuckle removed from a 404 housing and could take a measurement for me?

I need to know how far out the axle bushing sleeve sticks out from the back edge of the 4 bolt flange (machined side) and what the largest diameter of the bushing sleeve is.

I believe that the knuckle to housing alignment is achieved with the bolts and roll pins on the flange and not on the fit of the bushing sleeve in the housing end. Is there clearance between the bushing sleeve and the bore on the housing end of the flange to verify this?

Hi Chris- I do not have one apart, but you are correct in that the bushing does not have anything to do with flange alignment.
As I recall, it was past flush with the flange, I had to trim some off when I retubed and got too much (large of a bead) inside the flange.
So... I guess what I am trying to say is that it sticks out about .125" (IIRC)
