Any one put Explorer disks on a 44?
For those of you that changed the lug pattern, did you just redrill? From pictures there just does not seem to be enough room to fit.
What about adapting to a warn full float kit at the same time.
Looking for any input. Not much from a search http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=241752&sortby=lastpost

I run the "Explorer Disks" or better know as Ford Motorsport Disk brake kit M-2300G. I used the kit on a SF D60 with 1.5" shafts and 5x5.5". The redrill from 4.5 to 5.5 is cake.

What is the distanse from housing end to out side face of axel, which would be the same as the inside of the rotor hat.

Cool thanks, here is the answer.
Designed for vehicel installations with 2.5"
brake gap(housing flange to axle shaft flange)
Does not look like it will work for me the distance on my Scout 44 is 2 inches.
