I was reading badassjeepguy's post and he mentioned 39's and who will come out with them BFG or Goodyear. Would you buy a 39" or 40" x 12.5 tires ? I would. I have 38x12.5 's now and would like to go taller but not wider. I would rather have swampers .

I'd buy a 40x12.5 BFG Krawler. I don't think that the MTR is any better than a TSL, when brand new. The TSL gets hard after time though, and the Goodyears don't seem to. Just my .02

BFG will have them first in a 39-40. Don't expect them available to the public any time soon, but expect to see them next season.

:barf: Too skinny for me. I like my tires wide- but I also don't compete.

Has 17" steel wheels and should have the beadlocks soon if not already.

I would like a 44x12.50"
Looks like I'm gonna have to run Michelins, but damn...a Swamper sure wold be nice
Cheapest 17" steel wheel I've seen is about $100, cheapest 17" aluminum wheel I've seen is $150. BFG is supposedly going to make the Krawler in a 35x13.5, available in a year or so. I'm wondering if the 39-40's will be wider than 12.5:confused:

My 325/85R16 Michelin XML tires on factory 16x7 steelies measure at 38.5" x 12.5" at the outside tread blocks. Tread width is slightly wider than sidewall width.
