Well gang,

My team and I built this D-series 3/4 ton IH pickup for the local D-derby to punish the fools who drive cars. Well after three days of slaving we got the Juiced Lincoln 460 and auto in there, shortened the driveline, hooked up all the wires, tank, and battery. Then we added the safty equipment. The safty equipment consisted of two cross beams and a vertical upright next to the driver. We thought thats all you were allowed. We have been informed that you are allowed any safty equipment inside the cab thaqt you want. Sean our driver does not know how to drive a pickup apparantley as he hung wide ass off corner 3 and took a hit in the middle. It fliped him over 3/4. The the car drove up on top of him. Well as he backed off the truck it droped it on the top. Pow the top crushed and folded. Sean was in Fetal position and came out with only dirt in the eyes. Miracle.

Well after 5 laps of the first race of the night, here is how it looks

Dame and all that work for nothing. Well we are going to cut the roof off. I already jacked it back out with a highlift and was gonna race again but they would not let us due to safty concerns. So lop it off with a Sawzall and then build full cage, then weld some roof back on to make it look kinda truckish again. Ready to race again and punish the sucka that took us out.

Glad to hear the driver's ok!

I don't suppose they allow you to build cage around the outside of the tires do they. :p

Otherwise you would see the fear in teh eyes of the other drivers as this road warrior like rig showed up on the field. (with cars with "x"'s painted over them on the side.) :D
