sumthing is screwed up with the wirig from my puter to the fuel pump..

the motor. puter etc only has to stay runnin afew more months would i be ok to run athe in tank fuel pump to a cut of switch on the dash for now.. that way i can by pass the puters control of the pumnp or is the pump presure regualted by the puter?

Yes you can, you will have to find the power wire to the pump, then wire a hot lead off the battery, get a relay (like one that comes with fog lights) now find a wire that has power whenever the key is in the RUN posistion, make sure this wire does not loose power when the engine is being cranked ( you will be amazed how many deengerize when cranking)

There are 4 prongs on the relay, one is for battery power, another will go the the fuel pump, Now there will be a ground for the relay and the last terminal will be hooked up the the wire that has power when the key is in the RUN posistion, this wire provides power to the relay so it closes and sends power to the pump.

Make sure the wire that is hot when the key is on does not power up when the key is in the accessory posistion.

This will work, but I bet your problem is just a bad connection on the existing fuel pump relay, all the ECM does is provide a ground for this relay, I would start there but you can bypass it like I explained..

ive been thru the wiring with a fine tooth comb.. so it may be a lose conection but like i said its all gettin ripped out this winter.. and i m just gonna do a temp fix.. so thanks for the info..

wasnt sure if the ecu controlled the pressure or not..
