found a optima red top almost brand new, but it looses it's charge how can i exchange it for a new one with the factory warrenty or something so i can get a good battery.

I would find a Optima dealer and talk to them, mine was a free replacement when mine went bad after a year... I returned mine at a NAPA.

do you think 4 wheel parts will do it? i bought one from them but the one i bought was the lighter in weight one the newer ones this i have is the original kind.

It's up to the individual 4WP store if they're gonna require a receipt or similar. If you send it back to Optima, they'll require a receipt be sent with it, or they won't trade it out. Napa or anybody else that sells 'em too, may swap it out for ya, but it's up to them if they want to. Chances are, if you take it in to the local 4WP store, they'll swap it out... but they don't have to (the warranty is from Optima, not 4WP).
