Here's the rules:
1. Post pics or links to pics only.
2. Post up links to your online photo albums.
3. Post up links to your sites or your buddies sites.
4. Give us some specs (if available) on the rig pictured.
5. Try to keep it Cruiser related. Not that we don't appreciate other makes, but it's Cruiser land over here.
6. No comments from the peanut gallery. If you want to comment on someones rig, send them a PM or start a new thread. This is simply to keep the links and pics from getting lost in a bunch of useless banter.

Here is the mad flex, the new springs had less than 20mi on them at that time, of which maybe 19mi on- highway... You gotta leave them some time to "break" in a bit... I may open the clamps, to help articulation, too.

Here is our 1966 Cruiser. Have had it for almost 15 years now. Was stock with a v8 conversion when we bought it. Did a suspension correction & lift on it. Later added saginaw P/S with caddy tilt/tele column. Swapped the 4-speed for a turbo 350 & 3-speed T/C. Wheeled it for a couple years this way & then tore it to the frame. Stripped the body & painted it bright Yellow. 1 year later, it was rolled & the body was wasted. Rebuilt it again. Still in primer/many colors.LOL.
Specs. 300 horse 350,350 auto,3-speed t/c,Chevelle 4-row radiator,dual batteries,aux.gas tank,full dual exhaust,1977 4:11 axles,ARB's frt.& rear,p/s,tilt-tele,correction kit,wornout springs,1 1/2 body lift,33"mud T/A's on 8" chrome spokes,8274 winch,custom York onboard air system,R&M shower,500 watt power supply,family cage,custom bumpers,rear tire/icechest/tool racks, rack on cage,handmade steel half-doors,diamond plate corners & rocker panels,3 windshield wiper system,alum.dash with Autometer instruments,center& overhead consoles,stereo,cb,clock,siren,beard seats,harnesses,wheelwell & under rear seat storage boxes,etc.

1977 FJ40, 4.88s (may regear instead of going larger tires, now it crawls on the highway and rocks), ARBs F/R, Fat City cage, 35" Pro Comps (not as good as BFGs), Warn 8274, rear disc conversion, Downey smog legal header, and one of the worst drivers ever.:D

'76 FJ40, full cage, GM front bucket seats, 33" Bridgestones (they came with it and they suck), 2" rear spring packs, Spark-O-Matic cassette deck, relocated turn signals...I haven't really had the time or money to do anything drastic to it yet, esp. since it's my DD and I have a 35 mile each-way commute!

Was told it used to be a TLC unit in California 8 years ago, guess it isn't true though TLC didn't exist I've now been told. Have every reciept including original bill of sale, guess I'll go through them! Pretty clean tho, I think. Bought it from the guy who got me into Cruisers, in fact did a lot of the work on it myself a couple of years ago.

EDIT 11/22/05 - it was a TLC rig, done before Jonathan did the badges, he used to scribe his initials into the windows of his rig and this had it...

I am not sure exactly how long but Johnathon Ward if that is what you mean by a TLC truck has been cruisers for a long time here in LA. A guy that I work with was room mates with him and he used to build them in their garage.

No, thank you Sloan it was this thread that I mentioned it. I bought the truck from a good friend, in fact the kid who got me into Cruisers in College. His parents are very wealthy and he mentioned he got it from TLC, and I believe he even mentioned the name Jon Ward. The truck is even a California model (EGR in 1975) and other than what someone had told me back channel (about TLC not being around 8 years ago) I had no reason not to believe him. But I still haven't gotten a chance to look at those reciepts yet, I guess we'll see (if there is anything from TLC).

A quick way to check to see if your truck is ex-TLC is to look for the TLC badges -- one in the driver's door jamb, the other on the firewall under the hood. Might be some chiclets in the glove box too.

I started poking around those reciepts last night and sure enough found the original 1975 bill of sale ($3910) but nothing from TLC. But then about $5000 easy of other reciepts from stuff put into this truck. Considering that and what I paid for it I pretty much got it for a total steal. No badges either. So I guess not :(

As long as it's a solid truck, who cares?

I'm looking forward to the event coverage as well. I wish we had been better prepared for the competition, but it was a great experience and we fixed all the little glitches that turned up during the competition.. The truck ran really well for the rest of the season.

this is how it looked earlier this year. Now both fender are crunched, and tons of custom tree pinstriping. The tub is 3/16th sides and 1/4" floors, built tough as nails by Poor Wallys in Bennington VT. These tubs are indestructable. That is my sales pitch for a buddy....

Also, went to 34x9.5 swampers, heated leather volvo buckets :flipoff2: , 1/2 way through the springover.........

Worn out F engine with 2F intake,weber carb, no-U.S. distributor, MSD ignition, pretronix magnetic pick-up (no more points). SOA, w/flipped springs, and rear lock-rite, all on 35's. Custom rear bumper, and roof rack. FJ60 power steering. And more to come, including wheeling pix when I get to Virginia.

Spring Over almost done, frame is off to painters to get blasted and painted on Monday, drivetrain dropped in and final measurements made and tack welds get permanent welds shortly afterwards!

The 45 is my pride and joy. it's got a 350/TH400 to 3 speed xfercase, tilt column, saginaw power steering, and an air locker. BTW the ackerman is stock in that picture. It will be going SO soon.
Heres my wheelin rig as it was outfitted last year. Those 4" BDS spring flex like a skateboard, huh?

After I drowned it...first trip out SOA, w/ PS... haven't been anywhere near wheelin' it since.

oh yeah...specs: SOA, Scout PS, 4wdb, 36" SXs, cage that i dont trust for shite, corbeau carreras, ARB f&r that dont work, stock drivetrain with soon to be TBI 2F.

rebuilt lt1 out of a 93 z28, had the computer reprogrammed to be as minimalistic as possible,
turbo 350 trans
power steering, shackle reversal, spring over on 4 inches of lift
fiberglass tub,
new wiring harness and custom gauges in the dash, don't have any pics of that though
78 fj40 front and rear axles, but i think those are going to be removed and maybe dana 60's so we junk the lc transfercase...

it still has a long way to go, the project wound up getting put on hold when i went away to college, and now my brother has really started to push getting it done

this is my 88 LJ70(2.4 turbo deisel).its running the factory rear lsd and a welded front.i have lifted it by 4 inches with homemade spring spacers and i have 35 10.5 16s on it.
ive been out with it this weekend for its first and last serious play....its being broken up shortly...(axle donor for my zook)

its a suzuki lj50 belonging to a friend of mine.....quite rare over here....it has a 3 clylinder 2 stroke motor that sounds sweet.
