I've been putting this together on my website for a couple weeks now and I figured the SE forum here would be a great place to post it up as well. We're lucky to have so many private parks here in the Southeast and many new ones have opened up so there is not a lot of info out there right now about them all. I'm sure you all have seen that Tellico got closed till 2011 and with the govt taking away more and more of our private riding areas it is all that more important to support the private ones.

Feel free to add to this thread as you see fit, anything I've missed, details, etc. I've tried to limit the posts to "legit" riding areas, not your granddiddy's back 40. Mainly places that someone could pull up on the web and go hit up for a weekend having never been there before.

You forgot the new HawkPride offroad and Offroad Mayhem. I knew mayhem don't have a website but I think Hawk pride does.

Edit here is the Info on Hawk Pride:
New park opening in may about 15 Min West of Muscle Shoals AL. We went out Sat and checked it out - I believe this place is gonna be awesome. We only saw about 1/3 of it an were all very impressed - some of the stuff is HARD. I need tow new drive shafts, one front shock, a muffler maybe and some possible issues with a front spring also drivers side of the jeeps looks like shit now as well.

There is 1,000 acres and 200 of it is parking. There is allot of sand stone rocks that would get great traction when dry you can view videos on youtube as Hawk Pride Off Road

I usually see more trucks and buggies up there than I do ATV's even though the website really caters to ATV's. Lots of Rocky trails. Some good technical stuff. A few hill climbs etc. A good day can cover the worthy trails in the park.

Hardrock will become something very badass soon. By the end of the year it will have a numbered trail system with ratings and some honest to goodness rockcrawling trails. The SETTC is this weekend. After that there will be many more rides and a points series coming as well. Keep checking in at www.hardrockmx.com as well as www.offroadpromotor.com. They are working together to make this place a real destination soon.

North Florida - Apalachicola National Forest
o The ANF has a pretty a vast trail system (http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/florida/documents/mvum/Apala_mvum_mapbook.pdf)that is legal and numbered. Although mostly flat, there is some off camber stuff out there but it's rare. The only real offcamber stuff was in the borrow pits but, since the EA, they are offlimits. If you like level 1 trail rides then you have around 1000 miles to explore. About 50 miles of roads feature deep water and mud. You'll have to hook up with a local to find them easily. HERE (http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/florida/apalachicola/recreation/ohv.overview.php?p=1.1.3.4) is a link to ANF information from the FS.
o Note that OHV's have a dedicated trail system (http://www.florida4x4.com/4xforum/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=14903) for their exclusive use.

Tate's Hell State Forest
o THSF has an OHV system and nothing for licensed vehicles. HERE (http://www.fl-dof.com/state_forests/thsf_ohv_index.html)'s the link to more information.

I actually went there New Years day and it was really nice for the area. I am going back the end of the month. If you live in the area it is definately worth checking out. And no the hill in the pick is not the only hill. The website does the facility no justice, it was much better than I expected.
