Ok so i got a guy wanting to sell me a aluminum case NP205 havent seen it yet, i have never heard of this and i have searched and not found much information on this. If there is such a thing what are the differances? Stregnth is obviously better in the cast iron models but is there that much of a difference. Are the gear ratios the same? any differences in mounting? I am looking to make a doubler but are having a hard time finding a 205 near me, and this is the first one i have found. any info would be great thanks

I have a divorced Chevy 205 with mounting cross member and the shifter in WV near washington Dc

Sounds like some shady dumbass redneck is trying to pawn a 208 off on you. If it was a 241 he wouldnt have to lie to sell it :laughing:

My guess is it's a 208 also.
