I got an oportunity to run some non dot tires on my f250. I've seen people with projects on there tow rigs, wanted to see how there doing. The tries available to me would be general grabbers wich are radials and have thick sidewalls. Have friends running them on lighter rigs nothing heavy though. Thoughts?

Are they a smoking deal if they last 3000 miles under a heavy truck?

If you are lucky 3000 miles.
guess if you are only dring a few miles a day but shoot boggers only last 10000 under a F350 and those are DOT cert.
The county will like you thought you'll be paving the road everywhere you go

And they explode at 80 mph and you crash and you get fined by the DOT? Sounds awesome.

At the price I can get them for yes. There not a bubble gum compound for rock crawling there closer to a bfg project in composition so I'd expect ok wear.

That would bring the suck and is why i'm asking for people who have experience to chime in.

when you say red labels, everyone thinks stickies. If this is a harder compound that can handle the heat produced by that heavy pig, go for it.

The only real thing that comes to mind is the load rating on the tires...Are comp. tires still load rated?
