Posting these pics for my pal calfj60 (aka: Cheap No Red Star bearin' Bastard :D)
We've made a lot of progress on his '69 FJ55. I'll let him fill in the details, but here is what we've done so far:
Completed the steering (minus safety washers on the SREs). New pass. side steering arm, new draglink and ends, modified pitman arm to accept larger GM TREs.
Fabbed (sorta) and mounted the tranny/x-fer crossmember.
Ran flex and hard brake lines.
Prepped the firewall for booster/master/pedal installation.
Mounted the radiator, Lincoln MK VIII fan, hoses, tranny cooler.
Mounted P/S pump, alternator and belts (new water pump too).
Replaced rear main seal, oil pump and screen...Think Toyota would buy a warranty claim for excessive oil sludge? :p
Install 1.5"
4Crawler Body Lift (http://4crawler.cruiserpages.com/4x4/ForSale/BodyLiftKit.shtml). I highly recommend Roger and his projects. He will work with you on custom parts and ships quickly. Support a fellow wheeler and small business man! :)
Kinda mounted an '84-'88 Mini bench seat (sorta not bolted down yet  ).
That's about all I can think of for now. Okay, onto the pics! More pics to follow as we make more progress
