I know I've seen it done, admittedly just in a magazine.

I figured that if ANYONE would have manual locking

Its done that way on FF rears and aids in towing it flat, some run a standard FF nonlocking...(always locked) endcap....

I run the rear manual locking hubs on my YJ. Its a FF 35 spline 60. The only real reason I did it is I got a screamin deal on the Warn FF kit. Plus the 8th grade chicks love it too.

I had them on the rover until I went to portals.

Great for flat towing, too bad no FWH for volvo C303 axles :(

What about your other post? Did you need it twice?

I just machined up some weld on flanges for cornjeeper so that he could make a FF 9" with Dana44 disks and 30 spline hubs. Check out this thread http://bb.bc4x4.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4742
