Not as much as you think. This one has been on a real dyno, and put out 1174.

MMMM, Nice, guy near me has one very close to that in a tube chassis 93-97 ford built for sand drags, Kasse didn't do the whole motor on his from what I understood but did do the top end stuff, I think he said it's in the 1100-1200hp range.

Yeah Kasse is the best when you want or need a real motor. Although I don't care for the chebbie (I give him crap all the time) exhaust flanges, the Ford pattern wont work, as they are too small. This one here burns methanol and does it smell good when it runs. Only thing better than methanol is fuel, but that breaks things...:D

Not by much. I think for anything other than a drag racer, be it mud or asphalt, I'd stick with some 110 to 120 octane race fuel. I'm sure kaase could accomdate that request as well, and still make a nasty motor. Hey pro, you should stick a 815 ci 15:1 compression motor in your beast, might need an ale upgrade though. lol

Yea, race/aviation fuel doesn't bother me but alky will make my eyes water if I'm standing next to it while its running. Might just be tears of love, though :D

If so The motors I've been around are the 16 qualifiers at the october delco nationals in Las vegas (now called the Las Vegas NHRA nationals),the last 4 years in a row, & a couple of the summit nationals in the spring in the same location,

True nitro is a tad harsh, but damn it just smells good. What little of it you can.:D Alky is not quite as harsh when running correctly. This motor has pyrometers on all 8, he has to purge the alky with gas, the rockers have to be backed off if it sits so it wont kill the springs, clean and drain all the fuel lines, etc, etc....
But it sure runs good. B efore it leaves, I'll get a pic of it and my dads next to each other doing a NICE burnout....:D
