Hello, I believe this is my first post, I have been lurking for some time trying to find the answers to my questions with no luck. So I figured I would post here to see if I can get some help and not get flamed too bad.

So here we go, I recently purchased a Chevrolet Crew Cab Long Box with a 6.5 LTD 2WD. Now I have the truck with the intentions to SAS it and I have been trying to figure out how to get from 2wd to 4wd without getting a new tranny. So I am thinking Divorced T case but I am not quite sure what I am looking for as far as the Case itself. Ford, Dodge? I know Chevy has never made one as far as I can tell, So what am I going to be better off looking for?

I am not really concerned about drop side but, I guess if I had to choose I would just run a pass side drop since I am having a hard time finding a D60 Driver side axle around me.

So that brings me to this can you guys help me/ educate me on the whole Divorced T case idea?

Thanks in Advance

If you use a Ford front axle, find a divorced Ford NP205. For a Chevy or Dodge front, find a Dodge or IH divorced NP205. Chevy never used a divorced NP205, stay away from the odd Rockwell and Napco divorced cases too sometimes they are hard to get parts for.

I have a couple for sale, but it wouldn't be cost effective to ship one.
