I purchased a filter adapter and it came minus the bolt/cap that holds the relief plunger/spring combo in the side of the adapter.

Because of the availability of these things, Im looking at having to fab something up. Im pretty sure the length of the bolt/cap is somewhat critical for the tension of the spring/plunger, so does anybody know the length of this bolt/cap...so I can fab a new one?

Or (even better) does somebody have one they can part with?

But seriously, MC said he didnt have any and didnt know offhand who did. I was able to locate one locally however, so all is good. Thanks for the response :beer:

Are you talking about the pressure relief bypass the factory filter adapters use for cold start-ups?
