What a way to start posting on this board, we may be crazy, we may be lazy, but at least put a full cage on that seat with a 5 point harness and charge e-ticket ride prices!!

LOL

I'd be willing to bet it's for hunting. although shooting from a
vehicle in California is waaaaaaaaaaay illegal. it's legal in Texas
though... but then they also feed the deer before shooting it,
as well as providing salt-licks for them...... but they get they're
just-rewards, cause their deer are about the size of a german
shepard........

It doesnt even have to be a very hard or off camber section. If he bumps it a little to hard over a rock, or hits something and stops short, that kid is going flying. You think he is going to hold himself in? Fawk no.

Not to mention that its fawking welded on there permanently.

Dumb shit like that is exactly what people are going to fixate on when they think of wheelers. This is what they will rember. Not the nice wellspoken guy who was talking to them about land use, but the dumb ass with a seat welded to the front of his truck.

It doesn't look permanent to me. Looks to me like the thing slips into a front receiver hitch.

is it just me or does the sticker on the jeeps bumper say "slightly stupid off road" ? that may explain the seat :flipoff2:

That thing is Fawkin stupid, and its an accident waiting to happen.

Sure you can say that as long as if it is only used on flat ground, then its safe,.......YEAH RIGHT! The fact that the time was taken to build the thing, means that someone is gonna get inside that thing, for the E ticket ride.

I cant help but think how easy our battle to keep trails open, would be, if we could get the enviro-zealots to do such stupid antics, and then post them on large internet sites, for everyone to comment on.

Make this fawkin, gay ass, post go away or at least put it in shit chat.

I've actually seen a setup kinda like that in person, except the seat looked more like a bassboat seat

It was on a M151 Mutt "Jeep" that the guys used on a ranch, they roped from up there. CRAZY.

Saw this one a while back, these fine boys from Waco, Texas have taken it a step (or several) further... Notice the cooler on the front along with the gun racks... That's just QUALITY fabrication there gentlemen.

One of our club members (a Texan by birth) summed it up: "Y'all please excuse us, but them boys from Waco never was quite right."

Looks like a nice hunting setup to me. I'd love to have that Jeep. That type of setup is extremely popular around here. Here's a link to some more similar rigs. (http://www.southtexasoutfitters.com/custom_hunting.html)

Of course I'd still keep my 4Runner for the actual wheelin.

Hell, why use guns? You could throw beer cans at the game as you run them down... Seems to take some of the sport out of it...

Secondary question: Why does that web page list the "U.S. Marshall Van" under the "Custom Hunting Accessories?". What exactly IS the season for convicts? NOW *THAT* might be a bit more sporting. Just give us a call when they open season on child molesters, we'll convoy over for that one...

hey there chief....let me tell you how it works. you get in to your handy dandy jeep....drive it out to the lease. park it and climb into the seets mounted to the front of it. thats where you hunt from. noone is driving it around why you are sitting on there.

surely you Californians go hunting. what do yall do? wak out into the woods. when the lease is several hundred acres, yalking is kinda rediculous....

thats almost as classic as a few of my friends idea of putting snowboard binding on the roof of there stock yota. That way when there driving though the woods someone could slap on a set of snowboard boots and lock themselves onto the roof.

Walk into the woods when we go hunting, OH my God no!
We have our limo's drive us up to where a vallet wheels the game into shooting range, then our butlers shoot the game for us.
Actually, I only shoot winged game,...but yes I actually walk,(sometimes a long ways, like over a mile or two  ).
If you need to just drive up and whack the game over the head, then just go buy some cow at Supermarket.

In any case this topic does not belong here in the 4x section.

CAMO!!! Where are you when we need you? Make this Bubba topic go away!!!!

Hmm, that looks about as smart as trying to drive down the road with a broken drag link. And that is the frame twister at hollister too.. not the flattest thing in the world, but not something i think i woudl roll on, but then, you can roll on anything. . That is just plain Dumb..

Incase ya'll is wondering at the hunting... thats for birds... its a dove hunting rig. They drive from water hole to water hole and as they drive in all the birds flush up and then, the bubba fun begins....and the boys in front double as target throwers as the empty the beer cans... the boys in back ...well...... this could be moved to the wheeling death tread too..

I was this thread starter. Sorry guys, just gotten back from vacation. The picture was taken by a guy in our group when we was at Hollister Hills 2 weeks ago. I thought it was crazy to have a kid up there so just wanted to share the picture with you all. Here is a picture the jeep in the back ground. These guys were amazing:

Someone needs to explain to the driver of the jeep, that forward progress is easier with the tires on the rocks, instead of stuffed under the differential.
Its also OK to air down the tires when off road.

Yup, they sure seem to be amazing:rolleyes:

I say encourage him to wheel the piss out of it....looks like the gene pool would be better off!

These folks are obviously from the shallow end!
