Still looking at the current prices of certain firearms. Ordering from dealers usually still involves a long wait but prices are still somewhat decent. It seems that with all the media play on shootings lately are making the prices climb slowly higher on hard to get items through private sales with a "Have it now instead of later" prices. Makes you wonder.

prices have been rising since october, where you been? :laughing:

There are still a few deals out there by last months standards - but not compared to last year. Every day guns go up and up.

If you want to see a great example - I have watched ammo consistently go from $300ish a case to $375 and $400 for Wolf. Brass cased is consistently selling for mid to upper $4's....

So what ya looking for?

I'm seriously rolling around a Springfield Armory M1A Loaded as the last rifle I will be buying. I have the handgun covered. The AR minus the buffer tube (petes just waiting to ship it with a few other items) is all finished. I may be going to Alaska for 3-4 months of work way out in the woods somewheres and was thinking it would be a good idea to actually have a real rifle. That and of coarse I would hate to buy something, then have some impending gun legislation go through while I was waiting 2-3 months for it to come in. This could be pointless depending on how quickly something like that could get passed. But for the most part It has to do with going to Alaska.

Pete can order them for 1600 with a few months wait. Or can can drop a fat 2 grand on one right now.

Look for good deals on "sporting" arms. I picked up a Sako in 300 Win Mag for $500 out the door.

Dunno but I got a smoking deal on a Benelli Nova. Light rust on the barrel but nothing a blast cabinet and some duracoat won't fix
